Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Nice hot shower. Best price of in Council Bluffs with breakfast included as well! Did not use the indoor pool, but it looked good.

The staff brought a whole new level to customer service. They were friendly, kind, and very helpful. When we had issues with the TV, they were there within 10 minutes to fix it. The pool was clean and the kids had a great time swimming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Thank you very much to the staff for the excellent job they did.

Check in was fine , staff were friendly . Our room was awful ! Very dirty ,dirt all over bathroom floor . Unclean bathtub. Husband cleaned it and had unclogged the drain because it wouldn't drain . Empty beer can found on nightstand. Only reason we didn't leave was because we had been traveling all day and were exhausted. Definitely wont do that again! Breakfast was ok .

This hotel was probably one of the worst we have ever been in for quite some time. The property was not well maintained, had a terrible oder in the hallways and even when first stepping in the room it had a funny oder. Not sure the last time anything had been repainted and everything was dark and dingy. Plug-in in the bathroom did not work, TV was set at wrong time to view the proper guide and maintenance couldn't understand what we needed to have them fix the problem. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. However, I certainly would not recommend unless you're desperate for a room.

0 out of 10 reccomend. Thought it was an AmericInn, but obviously sold and rebranded as American Inn. Everything smelled musty and like moth balls. Mold/mildew around tub and sink. Stains on the bed linens. We drove 750 miles that day and were exhausted, so we were not prepared to find another hotel. My wife refused to put her clothes near the floor and we wore sandals the entire time. The bed was "okay' but we didn't sleep well. Only good thing was a functioning AC unit. Didn't even consider trying the free breakfast because we couldn't wait to leave and had zero faith in the cleanliness of food prep area.

Unable to cancel due to late in the day and booked non refundable. This hotel looks nothing like the photos… it is very very run down. A homeless person was sitting outside the side door where my room was and the side exit. Did not feel safe…parked under the lights in the middle of lot for safety. Would not stay here.

Signage was poor. Room had not been vacuumed and there was live spiders in corners of room, sunflower shells, and dead bugs and crumbs all over. The manager put us in another room when we asked for a vacuum to clean the room. The new room was so musty my nose immediately plugged up. We asked to remain in the one with the nasty floor and the manager came and ran a vacuum over the floor. Beds were rock hard and breakfast was lacking. Yogurts were expired and hot foot consisted of gravy, biscuits, and sausage patties. (No eggs) There was waffles but only the mini ones. The milk jug in the fridge needed to be wiped as it had crusty dried milk on the tops. The manager was super sweet. Said that they had just took over management 2 months ago and had trouble with getting good housekeeping staff. I guess I've stayed at worse but for the money it was what I was expecting. It is also located right in front of the council bluff police station. Not sure if that made me feel safer or more uneasy......

This hotel is misadvertised. I thought it was AmericInn, but it is not. Very run down, there was used floss picks in our bathroom, a bottle of liquor in the nightstand, no kleenex. The breakfast looked inedible so we did not eat breakfast. The only good thing about this hotel was the shower head in the shower. Do not recommend and will not stay again.

It's a great value for the money and a short drive from the Henry Doorly Zoo and the Laurenzen Gardens. The lady at the desk said we were welcome to use the indoor poor as late as we liked. The room was clean and breakfast was open until 10:00. We saved over $100 by staying in Council Bluffs rather than Omaha.
