My wife and I had an amazing stay. Mary was a fantastic host, extremely knowledgeable about the area and so many other things. The breakfast was fantastic, the rooms and the rest of the house were pristine. This is what a Bed and Breakfast should be like. If you’re looking for an amazing b and b experience you should absolutely stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Windsong 2, conveniently located close to Bethel Woods concert venue. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Our host was friendly and welcoming, offering us a slice of delicious homemade German chocolate cake when we arrived in the afternoon. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and we enjoyed conversation with the other guests and our host. We will definitely stag again!

We stayed here to attend a concert at Bethel woods. It is so convenient to access the venue. The thing is we didn't have any prior knowledge or referral about Windsong II before we booked. It turned out to be a lucky find. Mary the owner has done a great job. Breakfast is so good. The room we had was large and had a private bath. Its still in the infant stage having just opened in May this year, but its all ready running smoothly.

The B+B was top notch, rooms very clean and sparkling new. the host was super helpful and so outgoing and friendly, and treated us to a wonderful welcome snack (homemade cheesecake and infused water), and a tasty breakfast with fantastic quiche, muffins, fresh fruit, and good/strong coffee! The property is still undergoing restoration so still needs to finish yard and parking work (hence a lower rating on that category). We thought we'd notice the road noise out front more, but when inside, you don't even notice it. Not much to improve on, other than perhaps suggesting the host consider putting out a pot of coffee for those early morning risers, and including some drinking cups in the rooms. We had a great visit, and would recommend this especially for concert goers like us.

This place was spectacular! Mary is the best hostess and made us feel right at home. Her personality made everyone feel like we had all been friends for years. Her home cooking was delicious. It felt like having a home cooked meal with family you truly enjoy being around. Our room, the “Nature Room,” was amazing. The bed was so comfortable, the room was very clean, and we had our own private bathroom with our own climate control. Since the room was on the back side of the house, we had a beautiful view of the woods that seemed to go on forever. The location was perfect for Bethel Woods. It is less than two miles away, so you really couldn’t get much closer unless you were camping there. I would definitely recommend this place for a concert weekend or just a quiet getaway.

As someone with experience in managing kitchens and restaurants, I can confidently say that Mary is an exceptional cook. The following morning, we enjoyed the best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever tasted! But Mary is not just a phenomenal cook; she is also a multi-talented general contractor. Her intelligence and diverse skill set shone through as she shared stories and insights about her life, showing genuine interest in ours. It was refreshing to engage with someone so thoughtful and accommodating. The ambiance of her home is equally impressive. Beautifully decorated and meticulously landscaped, the entire property was clean and well cared for, creating a serene environment for relaxation. Conveniently located near a casino where we attended a show, Windsong retreat 2 is an ideal spot for anyone visiting the area. We left with a sense of fulfillment and a promise to return. In fact, I don’t think we’ll need another reason to visit; Mary’s hospitality and the amazing food are more than enough to bring us back. Highly recommend this delightful retreat!

A Hidden Gem in Bethel, NY My husband and I recently stayed at Windsong Bed & Breakfast, a beautifully renovated home tucked just off Route 17B in Bethel. From the moment we arrived, owner Mary made us feel welcome. After settling into the Nature Room, she treated us to homemade crème brûlée with fresh strawberries and refreshing citrus & mint infused water while sharing conversation that immediately made us feel at home. Mary's attention to detail is evident throughout the home, from the charming décor to the beautiful gardens that she, as a Senior Master Gardener, is designing & lovingly tends. Our spacious room and comfortable queen bed provided a peaceful and restful night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional. Mary prepared fresh Eggs Benedict with her homemade Hollandaise sauce, garnished with herbs she cut from her garden, along with fruit and plenty of coffee. What makes Windsong truly special is Mary with her genuine warmth, care, and hospitality. Mary creates an experience that feels less like a stay at a bed and breakfast and more like visiting a friend. As a bonus, Windsong is just a two-minute drive from Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Without hesitation, we would return. Windsong is a wonderful home away from home, and Mary is a host who turns a great stay into a memorable one. Pam & Daniel

Unfortunately, this stay did not meet my expectations, especially considering it cost $367 for just one night. The room had no TV, which wasn't mentioned beforehand. The door couldn't be locked when leaving the room, so there was no way to secure our belongings while we were out. Another surprise was that there was no private bathroom, which should have been made much clearer in the listing. We also weren't informed that there would be cats on the property, which could be an issue for guests with allergies or who simply prefer to know in advance. The listing also advertised Wi-Fi, but it didn't work during our stay. Overall, there were too many unexpected issues for the price we paid. Better communication and a more accurate listing would have made a big difference.

It comes as no surprise that this past weekend was our second much anticipated stay at the Windsong Retreat 2. With a full house of guests, our host Mary greeted us with not one but three choices of yummy homemade treats; including a delightful New York cheese cake & fresh fruit, warm raspberry pie, and carrot cake. Breakfast was served attentively and promptly at 9AM, complete with pineapple muffins, an egg casserole, scallop style potatoes, fresh fruit, coffee and teas. Her home is a lovely escape from the every day hustle and bustle of life. The guests rooms are well appointed with beautiful bedding and towels and wonderful scents fill the room. The bed comfort is like sleeping on a cloud. With this B&B approximately 1 mile from the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, it makes for the most relaxing stay only minutes from the music venue. There are local pubs/eateries and a lake within a 20 minute drive. In addition who could fail to mention a quick stop only a moment away where the locals hangout at Hectors Bar. Make sure to book your stay well in advance if you don't want to miss the opportunity to sit on a porch swing, enjoy the garden and have a very pleasant welcoming environment. Thank you Mary for the hospitality. We will definitely be back again.

A Wonderful Home Away From Home! My stay at this bed-and-breakfast was an absolute delight from start to finish. The home itself is exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere. What truly makes this place special, however, is the incredible hostess, Mary. She is kind, helpful, and simply a joy to be around. Not only is she wonderful company, but she is also an amazing cook! Breakfast the next day was a true highlight, featuring fresh coffee, delicious quiche, homemade muffins, and quite literally the best carrot cake in the world. It was such a wonderful and memorable experience, and I would gladly stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, our hostess, Mary, made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm hospitality. We were greeted with a delicious homemade carrot cake and refreshing infused water, which was the perfect touch.The accommodations were wonderful, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The place was lovely. It was super close to Bethel Woods Arts Center. Mary was waiting to greet me and immediately invited me into the kitchen for a fresh dessert. And then gave me a tour of my room and the bathroom. I had the loveliest chat with her. And her cats are so sweet. The next morning I had a wonderful breakfast and a lovely greeting from her cats. I spent an hour sitting on the porch swing just enjoying the front porch. She had really tasty infused water. The next time I'm in the area I will absolutely stay there.

The property is recently renovated and well appointed. The host was very helpful and made our stay quite easy and comfortable. We were greeted with a nice homemade cake upon arrival and enjoyed an amazing breakfast before departing. The B&B is very convenient for travelers who will be visiting the Bethel Arts Center. It was our first trip to Bethel for a concert. We plan to do it again.
