6/10 Bueno

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Linens were clean, but floor (carpet) was sticky--perhaps from the dampness. It was fine for me as a 33 year-old single male staying there, but my 71 year-old mother would have been uncomfortable. I will probably stay here again for the convenience since I realize you can command these prices on football weekends.

It was better than we expected. The Relax Inn used to be below what we would normally accept but they have obviously been "revamped" with new stuff (tub, mattress, other furniture countrtops, etc.). The room very very clean but could use a little more detailed clean around corners... new coat of paint alomg edges in bathtub area, but all in all very clean. No coffee in the room, but a minor inconvenience. Staff was kind and helpful,

2/10 Mediocre

Chose to stay here because it started that it was very good and it wasn’t.. it is a very old motel in desperate need of renovation. Room smelled and didn’t look clean especially the restroom. I’m glad I have some sleeping bags that I could use instead of sleeping on the comforters they had.. staff at arrival was very nice..

Overall the room was clean and the ac worked great. The only reason I did not give a 5 star was because the door gasket needed to be replaced. Thus light and road sounds came in on the side of the door. Otherwise a very comfortable stay at a good price.
