Our experience started out by not being able to find the drop off point for the hotel, it was dark when we arrived and there was a lot of road construction in the area. After parking in a nearby garage and walking up, a snarky check in clerk couldn’t find our reservation. After getting that sorted out, we went to the room. We inserted the room key into the slot which was supposed to control the lights and heat. After playing around with it, we couldn’t get it to work. I tried to call reception but there was a red blinking light on the phone and I couldn’t get through. I walked down to the desk and a different clerk reset the heat, however it still wasn’t working. Third trip down to reception and the snarky clerk said she would send someone up to look at it. She couldn’t figure out the problem and also said they were fully booked so we couldn’t change rooms and that she would have a space heater sent up. We were tired and wanted to get to bed and it took about 45 minutes to get the heater. Unfortunately that wasn’t the only hassle with the room. A top sheet was used as a fitted sheet which didn’t fit the bed properly and left part of the mattress exposed. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor and no fan to dry it up. Housekeeping came in to make up the room the second day and only left one replacement towel for the three of us. The room was clean overall, but all the little hassles overshadowed everything else.
