We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was a large ADA room with ocean-front view, a balcony, a large bathroom that had a roll-in shower, small kitchenette, full-size refrigerator, and was very clean. The staff was very friendly and one very friendly maid even gave us recommendations on where to eat. Each place she recommended served great food. We really enjoyed the salmon dinner and clam chowder at the Lucky 7 casino, which was one of her recommendations. We had a very restfull time there and the sunsets each night (3) we stayed there were amazing.. We recommend this place to anyone. The only downside was the soft low bed which made it hard for my disabled husband to get out of. We will stay there again. Thank you to all the staff for making this an incredible stay for us.

The view from the room was beautiful. It was clean and contained most things you need to fix meals (a toaster, pots, pans, frig, stove, dinnerware, no oven). The pool is located off site and required driving to a different location.

When we pulled up to the office we were concerned because the property looked pretty sketchy, but the person who checked us in was super helpful and when we actually got to our room we were pleasantly surprised. The little cabin on the river was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was small but efficient and was just what we needed. The best part was the balcony overlooking the mouth of the Smith River. It was an incredible place to watch the birds and river otters.

Staff was helpful and this is a brilliant hotel with an amazing view! We were late driving to the hotel and for the check-in they were very helpful and waiting for us late into the night. The place had a stove, pots and pans, a huge refrigerator, microwave, cups and plates, everything needed to cook and a big restroom/shower. And a spacious room. Had a great time with them, will definitely come back and visit them again!

The overall room itself was nice and clean. It was the part of trying to find the resort when you first arrive to the resort. It was confusing trying to drive to the room made it a little frustrating and stressful for me. That was my first time being in the city so the experience could have went more smoothly. Also the bathroom wasn’t all the way clean there was a pee stain I believe on the side of the roller when I arrived.

This was a wonderful place! the remodel is top quality in all areas So many nice amenities from the 2 stools and high table to the fixtures in the bathroom. there is a large refrigerator and microwave. plenty of storage in the large dresser , plugins for electronics and the added touch of 2 robes. It is very spacious including a private patio with rocking chairs and amazing view of the river including seals bathing on the beach and pelicans and egretts landing on rhe big rock in the middle of the bay. The customer service was top notch. Don't be swayed or discouraged by the moble home park you have to manuever through. It is well worth it!

After a 15-day road trip staying only in roadside motels, I can assure you this is the cleanest room we stayed in. I was more than a little concerned when we pulled into the complex and saw it was an RV park. There was serious construction on one side, old single-wide trailers on the other. We had to check in at the RV check-in through a window. I was fully prepared to keep driving and go elsewhere. I was pleasantly surprised when we got to the back of the park; right on the river was a well-kept motel block. Our unit had been remodeled and had everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. While the bed was eh, comfortable, the view, patio, cleanliness, and spaciousness were fantastic. We didn't use the kitchenette, but it seemed well equipped. There was a laundry in the motel block. Access to the river isn't anywhere I would have kids (or myself) getting into the water; the boat ramp was fine, but the dock is closed. Finally, it was quiet- so incredibly quiet. Though there were a gajillion campers nearby, it was quiet and peaceful. We ate dinner & breakfast at the casino. My husband left his expensive sunglasses on the table, and we realized by the time we made it back. By the time we returned to the casino, the glasses were already at security. They were fantastic, too! If I had it to do over, I would have stayed several days there rather than moving motels every few days. Oh, and the staff at the office? Super helpful and kind!

The standout as regards this property is the fantastic serene view from your back deck. Other than that, at least for me, it was basically disappointing. First of all, I think I was put in a handicap room, even though I am obviously not handicapped, and there was lower than 30% occupancy. That sucked for me. Then it was death by a thousand cuts -- in my unit, there was no comfortable place to sit to watch the TV on the wall, hung crookedly btw -- just two heavy wooden chairs with only minimal padding on seat -- very uncomfortable, and the bed, (which was sub par IMO). All of the doors, front, back, and bathroom were very difficult to open and close -- heaven forbid someone in a wheelchair would have to deal with that. As I said, bedding, including pillows, were not the greatest. The resort property itself is a montage of chaos and clutter, and it was difficult to navigate from the office up from to the units in the back. The street names on the printed map I was given were nowhere to be seen as I tried to follow the instructions I was given. I finally had to ask a maintenance guy I happened to come across. The TV had an input button on side of TV but i did not function. The TV was not particularly good. The wifi worked OK -- nothing special. The staff was generally friendly, patient, and helpful. There was a vague, musky odor upon entering the unit for the first time -- not too bad, and didn't continue to notice during my stay of (thankfully) 1 night.

This little place was a gem! We’ve been on the road for a week and this is our favorite place. Every room has an ocean view. We stayed in the ADA room which was spacious and well equipped. The staff was very helpful when my husband had a health issue. I would love to stay here again if I get the chance.

We were delighted about this place. We weren’t sure what we were going to do, and the location seemed perfect: close enough to access the Redwoods parks while still close enough to access the Oregon coast without a long drive either way. I thought the room was way better than the pictures on hotels.com. It’s huge, has a balcony with a view of the water and we could watch birds & seals. The kitchen is stocked, so after a grocery run, we were able to eat and enjoy a stunning sunset! It’s also conveniently located to a laundry facility, staff are friendly and helpful; it’s easily accessed from the main highway. Truly did absolutely LOVE this place!
