I stayed at this hotel with my friend during our trip over Tohoku district in the middle of May.
When we arrived at this hotel, it was around 8 o'clock at night.
Before we got so late, we had made a call and, at that time, been told that some of dinner dishes, like "soba" noodle, won't be able to be served late at night.
However, they did serve us them and warmly welcomed us. They were really hospitable.
The dinner was quite excellent in spite of the cheap room rate.
I couldn' believe that we could have not only famous soba noodle but also A5-ranked beef steak.
My friend also now told me that the dinner had worthed far beyond its payment.
Its hotspring bath was also nice. We could easily see beautiful stars from its open air bath.
The bath temperature was appropriate to me, although showers were so weak that we had to use pails to wash our bodies.
This hotel indeed is located far from the station, however, if you stay for one night, you will never mind it any more.
