The inn is very historic and thought has been put into the decor of the rooms. Staff were friendly and bed was comfy. Food was good.

Staff are warm welcoming and friendly. Food is great especially the full english breakfast. Rooms are clean beds are really comfy. Its a 17th century building with all the quirks you would expect. There is a huge beer garden and parking in a nice village location

Lovely pub and stay

Super friendly and helpful staff especially Joe and Keri. Lovely owners who chatted with us each night and gave us tips on what to see. Comfortable bed and room. Really old buildings so don’t expect it to be pristine but it has loads of character and history. We ate in the pub both nights, the food was good, served very quickly considering it is all cooked to order and was fairly priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

De lokatie is erg mooi met dorpswinkel op loopafstand. De kamer was schoon en netjes maar tijdens douchen bleek de douchekop erg te lekken. Diner werd aanvankelijk lauw opgediend maar dat werd op ons verzoek snel gecorrigeerd. Al met al hebben we er fijn overnacht.

Perfect English coutryside retreat

The hospitality was some of the best i have ever experienced. The food was great, the beer garden was perfect. Brian and Sue and the entire staff were absolutely the best and will forever be a memorable part of our trip. Yes, the building is old, 1600s. To us, that is a key part of the charm.
