The staff members were great. The hotel is right next door to a popular restaurant, The Point, but the restaurant at the hotel, Eloise, was just as good if not better. The location is great to be able to visit Las Grietas and water taxis are readily available. We stayed in a suite with a king bed, and our only suggestion would be to upgrade the bathtubs or remove them completely. It was the perfect three-day stay otherwise.

The requirement of a water taxi to get to the hotel while daunting at first, is not an issue at all as they are cheap and plentiful. Our room had a great ocean view. Beautiful view and very friendly staff. You do have to take a water taxi ($1 and operates 24/7) to the main part of downtown Santa Cruz but the view is worth it! Also it’s across from The Point by Midoro which as an amazing view and food. I would stay there again!
