The unit was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The property was nice and in a good location.
I got a message that the cleaning crew was running behind and check in will be delayed beyond 4PM so I went to a friends place a half mile away to visit. When I checked in at 5:30, the trash, which had food scraps in it, had not been emptied. These are minor details, however when brought to the hosts attention, their assumption was that I had arrived in town at 5:30. In reality, I had checked out of another place nearby at 11.
When I arrived, the unit had no TV reception or wifi. I contacted the host. I was told that I had "IPTV" which was incorrect, I had no TV. After going back and forth many times with the host claiming it was "out of their control", I finally got TV and wifi 53 hours after my arrival.
Other people were having issues as well so it may have been "out of their control" but it certainly was out of my control and I needed the wifi.
The other issue, and again, not the hosts fault, but still an issue, was that the two grills on the property were not working. I was hoping to use the grill to cook some steak, that was not an option.
Overall, it was an okay experience. I believe that I should have been offered some relief on the price because of the lack of wifi and TV and the fact that for two of my six days of vacation were spent back and forth with e-mails dealing with the issue.
Not terrible but I will look elsewhere next time I'm in the area.
