The actual accommodations were great and I had no issues with that. The service was curt from the get-go--I called with a question about the parking, and when he called back he was irritable sounding. I was in a work vehicle, unfamiliar to me and I was not aware it would not fit in the garage, so I asked him immediately upon check-in that night around 10 p.m. if I could cancel it and have the $10 I paid via PayPal refunded. No answer, which would not be unreasonable if their check-in instructions didn't explicitly state that check-in was until 11, which meant they should have been reachable that late. The message was read at some point before the next day but not answered. When I followed up on it the next evening, the response was that he "didn't feel like" asking the owner to refund it, and lectured me about not mentioning I had a truck and it should have been on me to know what I was driving. I explained, still politely, that I was not familiar with the vehicle and had never tried to get it into a garage and mentioned that I had tried to let him know right away. He then tried to blame me for another guest getting a ticket since they were not able to use the garage. I said that this was not my fault, and he then agreed to the refund but called me poor and asked me to never book with them again. Completely unprofessional and obnoxious behavior when I had been nothing but polite. So, full disclosure, it is a nice and comfy accommodation, but do not expect friendly service.
