Did not get the opportunity to check in due to hotel claim that they don’t see my reservations. I had printed out my reservation for the hotel to show that I had booked and paid Expedia.com come months ago. The hotel claimed they couldn’t find my reservation. I had to get assistance from a friend for accommodations with friends otherwise I would have been stranded.
The hotel staff told me that Expedia doesn’t pay them until the trip is completed and I should call Expedia to tell them to pay them first. Anyway, After my return back to the USA I called Expedia and explained what happened and my money was refunded to me. This experience left me feeling that I was dealing with a not to trustworthy hotel.
