Beautiful hotel! Check in was easy. Room was really nice with large windows. Bed was comfy and bathroom was clean. My only complaint was that the sheets and towels have a strong smell and there was blood or something staining the comforter right at the head of the bed. Other than that it was great.

What a nice property! I appreciated an unloading zone, particularly since they have dedicated spaces just a few yards away in the parking garage. When I checked in, there was a young man in training doing check in, and he did a great job. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Well, except when the hail came, but that’s not their fault - we were just thankful to be safe and inside, and knowing the car was in a garage. We took advantage of the lobby bar in the evening, for a very nice charcuterie board and a bit of wine. Staff there was excellent too. She was patient and helpful as our first wine selection was out of stock and helped us choose another nice option. I would say that I’m sorry for any parent who is staying there because their child is in the adjoining children’s hospital, but it offers a comfortable and convenient option.

I travel often for work and wasn't previously aware of this new hotel. The Highpoint is associated with the Sanford Health/University of South Dakota Medical campus. I am always impressed by forward-thinking concepts that address needs. In this case, the hotel provides support for patient family/friends, visiting medical professionals and potential students, and business travelers looking for professional, quiet accommodations centrally located. The hotel is affordably priced with an upscale feeling in lobbies and rooms. The city views are tremendous. The highpoint is a great choice for business and personal stays.

This hotel is new and has only been open since January 2026. The place is immaculate, With big plate glass windows and has comfortable beds. The shower pressure is excellent. I would stay here again!
