Room was immaculate . £15 per night to park car at property I found this a bit pricey but parked there anyway . If you want an early check in it’s £25 which once again is very pricey but you can park up and leave your stuff if you don’t want to pay this . If anything the bathroom is on the small side. Bed was very comfy . Would use again

Felt abandoned. Tired room, no milk to make a drink. Feels uncared for as a business. Shame good location & could have charm. Expensive for quality of stay.

Not impressed at all with this hotel the room was not clean as you would expect and the bathroom was discusting mold everywhere including the shower head. It was stated that there would be a Samsung tv to watch freeview but it didn’t work and was a very old pc monitor looking tv so we couldn’t watch anything. Towels were dirty asked for new ones twice but they never came. Toilet kept running intermittently showed the staff but it stopped as they came in then started again so nothing was done. The bed was extremely uncomfortable we both had bad backs after the first night. No dressing table with a mirror to be able to get ready to go out and us ladies know the importance of that. Just the basic things that are simple to rectify but no effort was made to change it. The shower I was cleaner before I got on it the shower gel bottle was broken and sat on the floor. I will not be going back stick to the ones we know are good.

We stayed in the Classic Suite, En-suite and it was very clean and modern. The location is walking distance to the city centre with nearby shops around the property. There’s parking within the property which is £15 a night but there’s plenty of free street parking. Would definitely return back here in the future :)

This room was a real gem. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed including a full sized fridge and recentlly refurbished to a high standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent; close to the river to walk into town or a bus stop outside Aldi with a regular bus service. We were also able to park for free in the adjacent road although there is also a pay car park onsite. I would highly recommend.

Nous venons de passer une nuit dans The Limes. Cet hotel est parfait: récemment rénové, bien équipé et nous avons été très gentiment accueillis. Il est bien situé et il est facile de rejoindre le centre de York à pieds en une bonne vingtaine de minutes. Les chambres sont en fait de véritables petits studios avec cafetière, bouilloire, four micro-ondes et de la vaisselle. Il y a 8 places de parking mais il est aussi possible de se garer dans la rue (quartier calme et sans danger).

Lovely refurbished rooms and hotel. Rooms have a sink, kettle, coffee machine, fridge and microwave, bathroom was a little tight for room but all was absolutely spotless

Room was clean and large enough fit all 5 of us (2 adults + 3 children). The children were on fold out sofa beds and there was a separate double room for the adults. The bed was super comfortable and we slept pretty well. The addition of a small kitchen area in the lounge with a microwave, coffee machine, sink and plates were really useful both for the baby and eating our Chinese take away. The only thing I would change about the property was the temperature of the room. The addition of air conditioning or the ability to open the double doors off the main bedroom would have been a massive plus.

Good all around. Would have been excellent, but for one little thing, quality of liquid soap. It was atrocious. Guys, decent soap is not expensive, please change. Everything else was great, staff most helpful.

Very clean and tidy. Obviously newly refurnished and very nicely done so. Helpful staff and I was surprised by the amount of amenities (fridge, microwave, TV). Very close to the University and a short walk into town, as well as very close to a bus stop that goes directly to and from the train station. Overall, it was great and very convenient, thank you.
