Camperdown Suites

Only stayed for one night, these suites are comfortable enough for a last minute deal

the location was good. on arrival my room was not cleaned I checked in at 2pm, I had to use another room to get changed and then my room was ready when I came back at 5:00pm I had to request hair dryer, shower dripped. Unfortunately I will not stay here again. Desparately needs renovation and updating, hallways were dirty so you didn't even get a good impression to start. Gargage was in the hall waiting to be collected and this was 5pm in the afternoon.

the location and easy access to transport. Maintenance of kitchen, plumbing, electrical etc was disappointing. AC didn't work.

This was a last minute stay organised due to the proximity to RPA Hospital. Check-in was via phone, using a key box to obtain swipe card, however card did not work and I was lucky that cleaners were on the same floor who gave me access to the room and arranged for another swipe card. The room was quite small, bathroom requires refurbishing with water damage to door frames & skirting board in the living area, bedding was just okay & TV remote required fiddling with to get to operate. On the positive side the price was reasonable, the Hotel is located within walking distance to RPA and nearby eateries.

It was nice enough but I asked for a double bed and got 2 single beds and also not having someone at reception is really inconvenient and having to call someone to check in and then not having someone answer when checking out is really strange and inconvenient.

It was just so so, had expected parking at suites not having to take car to apartments, if I had know that I would have booked there. Would also have liked to receive information before getting there that key was in box & a number to enter instead of having to ring try to speak to a person on the other end of the line that I had trouble understanding, traffic & noise of repairs on building.

I heared the water dripping sound at night but cannot located where it should be. Due to the Cronavirus, Australia government announced people should alert and keep distance from people to people, no staff at the reception area from that day. On the first day of the announcement, I guess on 17 Mar, no staff make up my room (1 night only), I have to call for tissue replacement. The staff are good and helpful, I appreciate.

Location very good near shops restaurants. Work on the outside of the building noisy all day but nearly finished

No hot water in shower for 4 days. Kept informing staff each morning but nothing was done

The property was clean, well priced and in an excellent location. Car parking was a little bit of a pain but didn't ruin my stay.
