Comfy stay
I've stayed here before and after a second trip I feel I can make a fair assessment.
The room was fairly newly decorated, neutral, comfy and clean. Walls very thin though
TV was great, you can screen mirror from your phone or tablet which made our movie night.
Bathroom was dated and shower desperately needs updating along with improved water pressure. Ladies we need a movable shower head don't we?
Fan didn't work with no bathroom window which isn't ideal (room 302). The showers in the club room were far better pressure wise so we used those, sadly the water went off for an hour during our stay, no idea if it was coincidence or something that happens regularly.
Room service food was of a good standard, was a little cold by the time it reached us, but they can't work miracles. It was super tasty.
Pool was very clean and so were the ladies changing areas. They are in the process of updating lockers, good timing as they are all fairly useless and don't lock.
The pool offers family times which is great, however there's no 'shallow end' and actually nowhere for kids to use apart from the lane swimming with everyone else. We ended up playing by the steps. If your child is too old to be held in the water but not old enough to swim I wouldn't come here. My son (8) swims well so we were ok.
Breakfast wasn't included in our deal so we didn't use the Waterside, it was lovely last time I stayed.
Staff were all friendly, polite and professional.
Would I come back? Yes, on a deal.
