Very friendly environment there. The owners were helpful and we had a nice chat together at the bar. Parking was fine. The room was clean and not very busy. Definitely recommend it if you are visiting the outer villages in Swansea. I had to attend a funeral and I knew some people around this area.

An excellent location by the lovely river with a large beer garden. We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the linen and towels were good quality. A very good shower room. Shower gel and shampoos were provided. Unfortunately the room was very hot but we were staying in the middle of a heatwave so little could be done about this. We had our own fan with us. The breakfast was excellent and was cooked to order and very well presented. We did not have an evening meal. Nick and Clare were excellent hosts and very welcoming. They appear to be doing all they could to make our stay (and the pub) a success. Good value for the price.

We actually didn’t end up staying. We arrived and the lovely girl behind the bar was on her own and didn’t know we were coming and didn’t know what to do. She called the manager and finally got through, who said she would pop back and to give us a room key.whilst she was trying to call the manager she asked us to sit in the bar and have a drink ( not on the house)! We went to our room. There was no cups or mugs, no milk the tv remote wasn’t working , when you opened the wardrobe it hit one of the ceiling lights.There was bare wires round one of the light fittings . There was no bedside tables, there was fixings on the walls for pictures but none up, they were in fact down beside the wardrobe! I went downstairs to ask for some mugs, milk etc. The poor girl was still on her own and said she would tell the manager when she came in of my concerns. I went back to the room and realised there was no working light outside our bedroom door so had to knock for my partner to let me in as I couldn’t see the lock. We sat for about another 10 mins and decided to leave as it was worse than fawlty towers! This was meant to have been £65 . I would advise to steer clear of this establishment!!

Stay 1 night as a business trip, firstly the location is awesome situated in a small village right next to a river, there is plenty of onsite parking. The rooms are very spacious and the beds really comfortable. The property is under new management and the attention to detail is second to none, they really went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The evening meal was fantastic, freshly cooked and very large portions. The pizzas are huge:). And reasonably priced. Had a fantastic nights sleep and the breakfast was delicious again there was plenty to eat and kept me going the whole day. All in all a very friendly and accommodating place to stay that won’t break the bank.
