This was without a doubt, the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The room itself was in good condition, but the sheer lack of space meant that it could only be considered acceptable- for business travellers who arrived late and left early. The single bed was hard (and small) and I didn’t get the best nights sleep on either night. There was a Nespresso machine with three pods, but only two milk sachets. A coffee cup but no water glass.
The shower / toilet was also sized extra-tiny, making it difficult to shower and the free shower gel pumps had about 2mm of travel, making them effectively useless.
The TV had a fault and ceased working after about an hour of viewing on both nights of my stay, no great shame as it was about a 24 inch analogue unit- the remote control was worn so you couldn’t read half of the functions.
The breakfast was quite basic but a good enough quality, the breakfast staff seemed unable to reply to a good morning, but managed to remove each plate, spoon, cup as soon as you put it down.
For someone more used to Premier Inns (and similar), this was a rude awakening, although for £125 a night B&B in central London, I’d probably stay again - but only for business.
