The Good:
Guy at check-in was super friendly and helpful on where to park our trailer. The room was small, but very homey and sort of rustic. It was very clean and bed was comfortable. The view of the river was just great and being dog friendly was critical to us as we had our pup with us. Seems like many folks staying were repeat guests who all talked w/us and each other.
The Not-So-Good:
The bathroom was a bit tight but not too bad for one night. The biggest concern we had was security. The sliding door went out to a shared deck. It only had a U bolt to keep it locked, which in order to put the bolt in the door had to be open a little so you could easily stick a credit card in and pop the u bolt off. The front door was similar in that there was a gap you could easily access to pop the door lock open. Also, not the hotels fault but there was a guy smoking on the shared deck w/an ankle monitor on just looking in the sliding door, till we closed the drapes. We weren't too worried as we had a rather large dog and other personal protection with us.
Bottom Line: Would we stay here again? YES we would. Good value, great location and view, and comfortable bed.
