This review goes for both the hotel and the restaurant downstairs, which was an integral part of the stay. A visit to the restaurant across the street, Cabrio, is a must.

Only downside was some noise from building work nearby which is typical is most city hotels at some poiint. Location very good for explorering the city. The Gerloczy Hotel is a gem. We selected to stay there based on the reviews and we are really happy that we did. It has a great location. It is close to the busy areas but not on a busy street. The room is very clean, a decent size, with good amenities and comfortable furniture—especially the bed. The shower is large and has great water pressure. We liked that there was restaurant in the hotel. Besides daily breakfasts, we ate twice at the restaurant during our five days there. We highly recommend the Gerloczy Hotel and would stay there again.
