Chose this hotel 1) as a choice rewards member and 2) the shuttle services covered both the airport and Port Miami.
The airport shuttle dropped us off at the wrong hotel. Not terrible, but we did have to walk down to the other location. Check in at the correct site was a breeze.
On arrival to our room. AC was set at 45, room was 76. There were no instructions to indicate you were required to inserted your room key into a slot to activate the room "power". AC worked intermittently throughout the night. Was not always a comfortable temperature in the room.
With 3 travelers, we booked a room with 2 beds and the convertible sofa bed. Unfortunately, the sofa bed linens did not include a blanket. This is where the experience took a bit of an unfortunate turn. We called the front desk and requested a blanket. The clerk said she was too busy to help and they don't have any blankets. Thinking maybe being busy was a factor, I went to the front desk and waited until she was free before asking about the blanket situation. The clerk was beyond rude. Literally put her hands up on the air, with a not her problem attitude. Stating that blankets are locked up by housekeeping. On-site security even stated they do not have access to those areas. When I asked for a manager, I was told they were not available and there was nothing that could be done. I asked the clerk why the would expect someone who paid $200 for a room to sleep without basic bedding. But we were unable to resolve the situa
