If you are looking for a place to stay that puts you right in the center of the action, this hotel is hard to beat. The location is truly exceptional, making it easy to walk everywhere. However, travelers should be aware that the rooms are very small and lack air conditioning. It is a good choice if you just need a base to sleep while exploring, but keep your expectations in check regarding comfort and space during warmer days.

2/10 Mediocre

We reserved a specific bedroom with a king bed as advertised on their listing, when we arrive they give us a very small room with to 2 single bed who look very weathered & smell very moldy . The night employee was very nice & recognized they had given our reserved room & apology & give us what we have reserved a larger bed . But the next day when we checkout the owner told us the employee made an error and requested us to pay extra charge for been up class for the same room we had reserved . We were on our honey moon and felt very deceive by the false advertising of the property. The hotel is in a nice location but the online pictures are outdated.

From the moment we checked-in, the hotel staff were polite and helpful. The room was perfect - comfortable, bathroom spotless with plenty of hot water, and the temperature just right. Parking was easy as the property has parking available. The Hotel Arvor is in the thick of it. Easy access to all walkable streets and amazing restaurants. I definitely recommend staying here while in Dinan.

Hotel Arvor is incredibly well located in the city if Dinan. Finding it, however, can be a bit tricky. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are not as upscale as one would hope, but they were clean. The bed was well used; a little too well used. But staying within the walls of a former convent, close to the magical city center itself was incredible. Overnight parking is nearby in a city-owned lot. There is at lease a one-star Michelin restaurant nearby; maybe two!

So so stay in Dinan

Hotel is extremely well located in the center of beautiful, charming Dinan. Impossible to use GPS to get there due to its location on a street that is pedestrian-only 11am - 11pm and neither Google nor Apple mapping know about it. Rooms are quite run down compared to expectations with shabby carpet and chipped paint. No AC. Most (or all) rooms face west and so get afternoon sun and get very hot in warm weather. We didn't have breakfast...

Sjarmerande hotell mitt i byen
