Great location near the beach and some restaurants in hove. Staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. Great budget hotel for a few nights visiting Brighton or just passing through.

The bed was nice and clean, as were the toewls, little interation with staff and the hotel was looking very tired. However low cost roomn in Hove is never going to be luxurious

Booked a twin room though a web site for cheapest Hotel in Brighton, our room on rear lower level was quite for a good night's sleep if dated in spec but really can't complain for the price point. We did get offered a double room upgrade on check-in but on looking at the room past aromatic guest rooms higher up in the building opted for the lower twin room. Great location, bargain price, no complaints.

I always enjoy staying at this hotel. While the decor in some rooms may not be the most modern, the staff are always friendly and very helpful. Bus connection to the centre of Brighton is very good and there is a selection of shops/restaurants in neighbouring streets.

Great place to stay, especially thanks to the fantastic staff. My partner and I were there over the weekend and were really grateful to be able to leave our bags before check in and after check out to get a bit more time in Brighton and Hove. I was traveling without a phone, and was really glad that the check-in experience didn't have any digital faff. The room was nice and cool during the summer heat, and quiet, as well.

The room was reasonably clean, fan was provided due to the heatwave. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I had help to bring my suitcases to the bedroom. The buses were available if you wanted to explore and the beach was only about 10 minutes walk away. Plenty of restaurants and cafes and other places to eat.

The bed was clean but extremely uncomfortable, the bathroom was not very clean the curtains had mould. The location is good, it’s very close to the beach, and good restaurants.

You get what you pay for. Albany Hotel is a budget hotel so I didn’t have high expectations. I was happy with my room and the parking which is available at the back. Very helpful staff as well.

A few things throughout the hotel I.e all the carpets are tatty. Pictures in the room missing the glass and wardrobe need Updating as wobbly. Price was not terrible but expected more for what we paid

Don’t come here expecting the Ritz - but we were very grateful to find a room that could accommodate 4 during Brighton Pride at the last minute. Yes carpets are threadbare, yes the furniture is missing handles. But (except during pride weekend) this would be a cost effective and well located spot to sleep in. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was run down but clean. It entirely suited our purposes - imagine a much friendlier and slightly shabbier Fawlty Towers.

We had no power in our room so couldn't charge our phone or hair appliances. We did get a partial refund though which was fair

Really pleasant little hotel. Massive room. Was clean & had lots of extras including toiletries. Yes it's dated, & a bit ragged around the edges, but charming none the less & good value. Reception staff were excellent. Really friendly, helpful & full of smiles. Good location for Hove shops & beach - Regular buses go from stops just a few minutes walk way to Brighton town/station/marina etc.
