Nice guesthouse in an excellent position close to Bath centre. Room was spacious and had a nice bathroom, very clean and welcoming. Could use a new carpet in the bedroom, but other than that, no complaints. Staff were very helpful and cheerful, parking is tight, but sufficient for our short stay. Didn't have breakfast, but it smelt wonderful wafting up the stairs! We will stay there again.

Very friendly helpful staff, great location the breakfast was very good However the rooms we booked were very tired and in need of a refurb not quite what we expected for a ‘prestige room’ also our rooms were left unlocked after they had been cleaned which the hotel did say they’d address .

Absolutely stunning hotel and still my go-to place to stay whenever I’m in Bath! The room was beautiful, the amenities were great and the staff were absolutely wonderful – friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout. A couple of little niggles: breakfast could definitely do with being a bit hotter. I’m not quite sure how it can be cooked to order yet when it arrived it was lukewarm. The room itself, although stunning, was looking a little tired in places and could do with a lick of paint and a few little touch-ups here and there (but then again, who doesn’t need a bit of TLC now and again?!). That said, these are minor things and certainly wouldn’t put me off returning. I love this hotel, and it remains my go-to whenever I visit Bath. Looking forward to my next stay!

This may have been a 5 star hotel 15 years ago but it does not feel like it has been updated since then. There is an odd smell as soon as you walk in. The room was cold and smelt damp. The shower did not drain properly so you could not have a very long shower. Overall a very poor experience. Absolutely not a 5 star hotel.

Had great stay and loved the location. In area quiet enough for rest but within walking distance to centre of town and sites. Had issues getting the plugs to work ne was broken and my converter for NA plug didn’t fit. Phone in room didn’t work.

Our room was wonderful. It was large and stylish with a wonderful view over the garden. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast freshly cooked. Perfect location for Bath city centre, yet wonderfully peaceful. Lovely all round.

Lovely spacious room. Nice little touches, water and glasses, body wash, shampoo etc etc. Tasty well cooked breakfast. The hotel was easy to find and parking was a doddle though there are only spaces for about 10 cars. Excellent location about a 10 min walk into Bath. Lovely hotel and I’d recommend highly.

The hotel is good and the room is very big. And the staff is helpful. Breakfast is delicious. But just we stay in Aug and hotel no air-conditioning. Day time may hot but evening is suitable.

The staff was as accommodating as they could be in the heat wave but didn’t have adequate fans for the rooms. My understanding is they are trying to have AC units installed and it will be much better when that happens. They were very kind and the location was quiet and not too far from Bath attractions. Rooms were small but adequate for a B&B.

The hotel could use some investment and a deep clean. Patio area wasn’t swept or very inviting with no cushions. One day we were locked out as no staff services desk. Housekeeping was good but the room itself needs an update with dirty cushions and dirty floors / couches. It wouldn’t meet brand standards of a chain hotel. Everything felt just too mediocre. Good location though and kind staff
