The location is prime -- a short walk to the Rosebank Mall, Shops and Restaurants. Ubers come pretty quickly at all hours within 3 minutes. The building is modern with a lot of smart features.
But, I would not stay again.
1. I traveled with a small child and the executive apartment room was too small. That's a preference issue not a hotel issue. It would probably be okay for a solo traveler or business trip.
2. We did not have towels in the room. A minor issue easily fixed with a quick call to housekeeping but as a seasoned traveler, I expect my room to be ready.
3. There was a kitchenette but the stove was a "smart stove." It took 45 minutes for someone to come and figure out how to operate it. The person sent couldn't figure it out and had to send someone else.
Again, not a major issue but when you have a small child screaming for their breakfast and you can't even operate the stove and then on top of that you keep calling the front desk and they say "someone is coming," the appeal of the place starts to wear off.
4. My smart washer/dryer malfunctioned. It kept running for nearly 24 hours on the wash cycle and the dry cycle never kicked in. Finally, at 10 pm housekeeping gave me a key to another unit. It took about 2 hours to get the clothes 90% dry. It was a fairly small load.
