Good Location, but motel interior and exterior conditions are almost rundown and don’t match with the online booking images, a full professional renovation is required.

The lady at the front desk is very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean. No air conditioner, there is a fan in the room instead. Location is great.

We had a fantastic time at the Astray Motel in Rotorua. The room matched the description perfectly and was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. We also really liked the large shower! Practical things like the reliable Wi-Fi, plenty of parking spaces, and the on-site laundry facilities made our stay even easier. The central location is absolutely top for exploring the area and going on day trips. A special thanks to the owner, who was super nice, lovely, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

My parking space was small for the vehicle I rented, and neighboring parker was over the line on my side, but manager adapted so I could park right away.

Although the motel has aged, the room was very clean and tidy. The manager was very helpful and courteous. This accommodation would suit someone on a short stay and a budget.

Was smaller than expected, T.V wasnt too good. Power points were in a weird place for bedside tables. However staff were friendly and welcoming and everything you need is at your fingertips ie.. shops etc. We really didenjoy our stay. Thankyou

Great especially for night bus travel!

Clean comfy bed and hot showers. They let me check in late at night after arriving on night bus. Also let me stay in their kitchen and living room area until my night bus to leave town which helped because waiting for bus is ouside and was very cold. Convenient to walk to bus station too.

The only window was facing the balcony in the bedroom, no security screen or fly screen. Room was extremely hot, fans did nothing. Did not want to open window for safety reasons.
