Poor service & poor room quality
Upon arrival we entered the reception area and found a lady who was unhappy with her room. One of the staff looked past the lady and at me and my partner and rolled his eyes and said “don’t worry about her”. In our first room all of the plaster on the windowsill had blown. The bathroom door did not shut and when we did get it to shut we found that the door face had been stapled on so when we re-opened it the door face got wedged onto the door frame. The shower had a bout 5 streams of water coming out of it and did not suffice at all. We had requested a king bed to which when we arrived we found we had 2 singles pushed together so the join of the 2 mattresses in the middle were very uncomfortable. We complained about the bathroom situation and they came and looked and wanted to re-staple the door again but my partner & I were not happy about this and they moved us rooms however we encountered similar problems in our other room. When we also requested about getting something to eat at around 5:30/6 we were informed we couldn’t have any mains or starters as everything was still pre cooking. The hotel staff were very rude and not professional in the slightest. The hotel has so much potential but with the current ownership it is wasted.
