What an amazing place this is. Spectacular service, beautiful room superbly fitted out and immaculately clean. We were very much looking forward to staying in this beautiful chateau in it’s wonderful grounds. On first glance the room was just amazing but my husband and I were not impressed to find the previous guests rubbish still in the bin and 10-12 dead flies around the bathroom window sill. We live in a very old farm house so know all about dead flies and spiders! On complaint at the desk this was all sorted while we walked the grounds but it was a great disappointment that the staff had not checked on this fly accumulation !

We stayed in the Elizabeth garden suites and not in the chateau. The rooms were large, comfortable, and we had lovely french doors. We never dined at the hotel as the menu seemed to be very expensive. But, we only needed the location as a base to explore other villages in Brittany. Served the purpose and it was nice to come back to a comfortable and quiet room.
