Unfortunately, the condition of the room and several aspects of the stay did not meet the expectations set by your website or the standard we anticipated.
Upon arrival, we noticed blood on the shower curtain, which was obviously concerning from a cleanliness standpoint. The carpet near the bed was damp, and the coffee maker in the room was broken, which made basic morning amenities unavailable when we needed them.
Additionally, there was a bright flashing light from a detector in the room that blinked throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. Compounding that issue, there was extremely loud truck beeping beginning very early in the mornings (before sunrise) and continuing throughout the both nights from the area near the aquarium building outside our window.
We were also disappointed to learn that room service was not available as advertised. Your website states that room service is offered daily, but we were told via text (which I still have) that availability varies by day and was not offered until 2:00 PM.
During breakfast at the Dragon’s Den restaurant, the orange juice had the color and consistency of lemonade, and several other guests commented on the same issue. In addition, the apple juice machine was out of order both days we were there. We also had to wait a while for a table, even outside, and the wait staff frustratingly told us they were extremely short staffed.
I have gotten no response in over 10 days about our issues.
