The first encounter was with a gentlemen who was working there, it was prior to check-in which was fine because i was going back into the city anyway and just wanted to store my bag. He said “Check-in starts at 3, you can do early check-in for 15 pounds.” I told him that i just want to store my bag and will check in later, he says “You don’t want to pay 15 pound for early check-in” i said no because im going to be gone most of the day, im only staying here because it’s close to the airport. Then it went from that to him not believing that i had a booking and telling me “People lie all the time just for us to hold their luggage, that’s why i keep asking.” At one point I said “Sir, i have a booking through hotels.com, fully paid. Why would i lie to stay here and not somewhere else?” I show him my booking confirmation and he’s like “I need to see the date.” Needless to say, he made me feel uncomfortable and confirmed that i should have just spent more money and stayed across the parking lot at the Hilton.
Ordered a simple dessert from the restaurant, the brownie was microwaved so bad, it was getting hard as I ate it with my ice cream. One of my favorite desserts, absolutely wasn’t worth it there.
The room had a tub…i took a bath, it was nice.
