poor lighting: the staff did their best to uncover more lamps the open bathroom is not my style, however the tub was comfortable breakfast before 9:00 would be an improvement

From the minute I stepped into the restaurant/reception area, I was treated like royalty. After slumming it a bit for the previous few days, my stay here was just brilliant and will certainly become a favourite of mine in the future.

The hotel is in one of the 2 main squares in Maastricht, a great location for shoppers and tourists. We had a problem finding the hotel as it is over a restaurant. We were looking for a hotel front and there was none. First locate the retauirant with the property number then go inside. We were given a welcoming drink whilst our room was prepared, we arrived a little before the published arrival time. The hostess was very polite and helpful. The room and bathroom were luxurious and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was good and reasonably priced - all the staff were great. If travelling by car it is best to contact the hotel for instructions on how to find and use their car park. It is 12 euros cheaper for 24 hours than the car park under the square adjacent to the hotel. If we were to return to Maastricht we would be quite happy to use this hotel again.
