Unserem Wunsch entsprechend, erhielten wir ein Eckzimmer in einer oberen Etage. Gemäss den Thema "Rock City" eingerichtete Zimmer, gross und bequem. Alles vorhanden für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Frühstücksbuffet umfangreich und von guter Qualität.

Parkering utanför väldigt bra. Åt dessvärre inte frukost då vi endast tar en smörgås o kaffe. Rum fantastiskt fint o sköna sängar. Underbar utsikt över vattnet. Hjälpsam personal när vi undrade över vägval tillbaka till Sverige. Mycket nöjda med allt kan varmt rekommenderas.

Ideal location right on the water. What a view! Room was just the right size with appropriate amenities. Staff were courteous and friendly. Parking was free and convenient. The breakfast was beyond amazing.!! I've never seen such a variety of food options at a hotel. Great stay!

De buitenkant doet niet vermoeden dat het er van binnen zo aantrekkelijk en goed verzorgd uitziet. Door het hele hotel is het Rock thema doorgevoerd, niet over de top maar heel smaakvol. De kamer (307) is niet ruim maar groot genoeg en met een mooi uitzicht over de fjord, een prima bed en een schone, ruime badkamer, fijne douche. Waterkoker met mogelijkheid voor thee of instant koffie op de kamer. In de lobby kun je gratis koffie of thee halen. Ontbijt is uitstekend, diner keuze wat beperkt en aan de prijs maar smakelijk.

Karmea henkilökunta, hotelli ja aamiainen ok

Huone oli siisti ja Ok. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja maittava. Henkilökunta oli aivan kauheaa. Kun kirjauduimme sisään, ei kerrottu, että ravintola on juuri sulkeutumassa (jo klo 21). Olisimme halunneet syödä, mutta ravintolassa tarjoilija ei tervehtinyt, vaan käveli vauhdilla ohi. Kun pyysimme ruokalistaa ja kahta olutta, hän tiuskaisi että vie ensin toisten ruuat. Odotimme ja odotimme. Tarjoilijat alkoivat siivota terassi ja mieheni piti mennä ulos pyytämään ruokalistaa. Silloin kuulimme, että ravintola on jo kiinni!! Otimme oluet. Mutta kun olisimme halunneet maksaa ne, piti meidän etsiä tarjoilija (joka oli kahvilla) jotta saimme maksaa. Olisi helpointa ollut lähteä maksamatta. Myös lähtiessä vastaanotto oli välinpitämätöntä.

Norwegian Rock and Roll

The hotel was clean and the service was good. The breakfast - included in the cost of stay - was tasty. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the hotel where you can park, though figuring out parking was initially a bit confusing. The hotel rooms either do not have air conditioning or their air conditioning was not working well. My room, which was in the sun, was too warm and was equipped with a rotating fan. My father's room, which was not in the sun, was quite pleasant and had no fan. We very much appreciated the museum's rock-and-roll themed decorations. Many Norwegian musicians started their career in the city of Namsos, where this museum is located, and the museum celebrates their work. When we stayed there, a tour bus from a 1970s rock band was parked near the entrance to the hotel - a bus belonging to the Norwegian progressive rock band "Prudence." After we left the museum, we listened to that band's music while driving around Norway. Fun!
