We had a lovely time at Clandulla cottages. We stayed at the Rose cottage. The cottage is comfortable, air conditioning is good and needed now in spring and summer. We chose Clandulla because our 2 and half year old daughter loves farm animals and she had the most amazing time feeding the animals every morning and afternoon, she chatted to the kanguru and peacocks. It was a very nice experience for our family. The owners running the farm and accommodation are very friendly and amazing if you need anything. They are also very good with the kids and kind with the animals. The farm is in a nice location, just over an hour distant to the Gold Coast and about 40 minutes to Mount Tamborine. There are creeks nearby. Cedar creek is nice if you would like to enjoy some time in the water on a hot day. While staying on a farm 30 minutes or more away from any stores, I personally feel that having a self-contained accommodation is important. So, I enjoyed having a full size fridge and stove to be able to prepare meals.
A gorgeous property to switch off from the world, relax and enjoy the natural surrounds. Quiet, peaceful and picturesque. A wonderful farmstay weekend away for the family with lots of animals to feed! Robyn and her family open their home to you - thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
The owners and animals were lovely and friendly. We had wanted to book the lovely Mexicano suite but it was already booked. We stayed in the Okotoks suite, the main bed was comfortable but the bunk beds and sofa need to be replaced.
Such wonderful stay for our family. Staffs are so nice, kids became friends with Ezie after 2 nights staying. There are lots of animals to feed in the moring 8am and 5pm. We really impressed the well maintenances of the cottage. Very clean rooms and beddings. I love the view from my window. You could order dinner onsite which needs to be paid extra. IT IS REALLY YUMMY and homemade. Only suggestion is the breakfast should have a bit more options.
Great stay, kids had fun with the animals
The accommodation was not at all as advertised, and bordered on misleading. We stayed in the Camelot "Suite". In the pictures, various doors are left open to give the impression that the room is more spacious, but the reality is that it is one very small room. The door that was open in the picture was closed and in fact led into the neighbouring "suite" - you could hear every single thing that went on next door. It certainly does not have a fully equipped kitchen - it has a microwave and a tiny fridge. The linen badly needs replacing, and the mattress is very uncomfortable. There is no view of the property from the room, and no private balcony. The "tennis court" is a patch of grass with an old net strung across it. The restaurant isn't open unless you book by 12pm. I will say that the animals were great, and the owners were very friendly. The place might be fantastic for families who know what they are getting into, but it simply wasn't what it was advertised to be.
Great hosts! Land badly affected by the drought but still a great stay.
The hotel is very beautiful, and the farmstay is convenient form family's. the staff is very nice. nearly the tamborine mountain, the mountain is so cool, weather is so good.
