The owners have done a beautiful job setting up this beautiful bed & breakfast adjacent to the ferry. They were so kind and generous in spirit and gave us a personal history of the area while welcoming us with an evening cocktail. Breakfast was wonderful and we would stay here again any day, wonderful property and owners!

Such a lovely place to stay right by the Songnefjord and the car ferry terminal at Vangsnes. Staff are so pleasant. Make sure to try the Gamalost, a Norwegian delicacy, at breakfast!

Our stay at Sognefjord Gjesteheim was amazing! The hosts, Paolo & Julia, are so kind and really made our visit to Vangsnes even more special by making us feel so welcome. They’re very knowledgeable of the area and provided lots of advice / recommendations for what to see and do. The breakfast and dinner was also delicious. We’d definitely stay here again and will recommend to all our friends and family. 10/10

The owners greet you, are very friendly and help make your stay memorable. The breakfast is very good. They made waffles and Omelets if you desired in addition to standard breakfast buffet. There are few local restaurants for dinner in Vangsnes but we ate across the Fjord in Balestrand which is very convenient. The Ferries run regularly to accommodate.

When we booked, we didnt know what to expect yet we found a gem of a place that offered a homey, cozy feel with modern touches such as a heated bathroom floor and towel rack Paulo and Julia went above and beyond to show excellent hospitality from top to bottom. Room views were amazing and beds were comfortable. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to all who seek and understand a 'home is where the heart is'.

No words - just fond memories - stay here! The love, effort and attention to detail of the wonderful host couple is truly moving. The beautiful property could be a film set, located right across from a ferry crossing station on a stunning fjord. Such a special experience.

Myself, my husband and son really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very charming, cozy, and clean. The owners (Paolo and his wife) were amazing and made us feel at home. The breakfast was homemade and very tasty. The location was also very convenient for taking the ferry to Hella, and we were lucky enough to see Orcas in the fjord from our room.
