The hotel is just 2-1/2 months old so everything is still impeccably clean and new. The staff was welcoming and very friendly, ensuring the hot tub was turned on for us though it was close to the closing time. The breakfast was good. There was fresh decaf coffee available (not always is).

An extremely pleasant surprise on our travels across the country. We booked this hotel last minute on our way to the Grand Canyon knowing nothing about the area. While there is nothing surrounding the hotel except for a gas station, including restaurants, we were well fed by the hotel during the dinner hour and breakfast the following morning. We would definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

The stay overall was amazing, we were woken up by maintenance staff stating they had a request for service, but got the room wrong. I think the property should place additional reminders about the time difference, this really threw us off our itinerary.

I have driven this route from Arizona to Colorado many times over the last 15 years and it's finally nice to have a newer hotel that sits outside if kayenta or tuba city. Nice to have another option and this one is very clean and the staff was super friendly. We'll definitely stay here again instead of in kayenta now. Price was great too.

the hotel was new and clean. Hot tub was small but hot and clean. The gym was new and clean and equipment was working. Breakfast was standard fare for hotels of this level. They had some happy hour refreshments -- maybe because there is no restaurant close by. It is located next to a gas station with convenience level goods.

A pretty decent stay, but perhaps because the walls were too thin, we could hear quite clearly what the people staying in the adjacent room were taking about. Could be disturbing, especially in late nights.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour nous rendre à Monument Valley. C’est à 1h de route de Monument Valley mais ça nous arrangeait pour reprendre la route le lendemain. L'hôtel est nouveau, il est très propre, les chambres sont spacieuses, le petit déjeuner était bon, il dispose d’un parking et le personnel a été vraiment très aimable de notre arrivée jusqu’à notre départ. Il est au bord de la route à côté d’une station essence, il n y a pas vraiment d’option de restauration autour mais ça ne nous a pas dérangé car nous avons mangé sur la route avant de rentrer. Sinon, il y a un restaurant dans l’hôtel ouvert jusqu’à 7 pm.

Dejligt hotel på vejen mod Monument Valley Vi overnattede på hotellet nær Shonto, cirka en times kørsel fra Monument Valley, og havde en rigtig god oplevelse. Hotellet fremstår nyt, moderne og indbydende. Vi var tre personer på værelset, som var stort og rummeligt med masser af plads. Hotellet har et fint fitnesscenter, som vi benyttede, samt en pool, som vi dog ikke fik prøvet. Beliggenheden er god, hvis man er på vej til eller fra Monument Valley. Man skal dog være opmærksom på, at der ikke er meget i området ud over hotellet og en tankstation. Hotellet tilbyder ikke mad, og den nærmeste restaurant ligger cirka 45 minutters kørsel væk. Derfor bør man spise på forhånd eller medbringe mad. Alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse, og vi kan bestemt anbefale hotellet.

I prepaid for my room and when I arrived the hotel staff was not well trained on how to check me in. What usually takes about 5 minutes took at least 20 minutes. Then they insisted I did not pay so they charged me again. I am currently waiting on a refund. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Writing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS FOR LA QUINTA! ZERO FOR HOTELS.COM! La Quinta in Shonto, Arizona, was OUTSTANDING! The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every employee we encountered was welcoming, professional, compassionate, and genuinely kind. Their customer service was EXCEPTIONAL! Unfortunately, Hotels.com was a DISGRACE! During our Route 66 trip, I booked and PAID Hotels.com for a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed, specifically to accommodate my 87-year-old father and our family. After a grueling 10–12-hour drive from Santa Monica through the Grand Canyon, we arrived to discover that the room was UNAVAILABLE! Hotel staff explained they had ALREADY notified Hotels.com that this room was out of service. Yet Hotels.com STILL advertised it, confirmed my reservation, and took my money! We had to pay for an additional room. Hotels.com's automated customer service refused to help, citing a no-refund policy. I WASN'T CANCELLING! I wanted them to FIX THEIR MISTAKE! No human assistance, no accountability, just scripted excuses! Thankfully, La Quinta's wonderful staff ensured everyone had a bed, and the exceptional manager graciously refunded my money the next morning, despite the hotel NOT being responsible! LA QUINTA: FIVE STARS! HOTELS.COM: ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY! Thank you, La Quinta, for demonstrating what REAL customer service looks like! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Hotels.com has lost my business!

Great hotel. It's new so everything is in fine condition. The artwork is absolutely beautiful. The location, while remote, is peaceful. Great location to get to parks nearby. The staff were awesome and helpful. Food was also good.
