A great all inclusive in Gambia! Rooms were very clean and spacious. Food was basic but good enough! Very quiet hotel even at night with the live music - was never annoyingly loud even though close to the rooms. Highly recommend!

All the staff were so friendly, amazing and so helpful. Breakfast every day was lovely and fresh. We stayed in the old rooms which do need a bit of work to update them but I can see they were working on some of them. Overall a great holiday due to the fab staff. Would recommend

Everybody working in the hotel is very nice firendly and hulpful Food variation each day at lunch and dunner . Around the pool people put towels on the beds for alll their stay. Hôtel shouldnt give the opportunity ti do it . You can also ask to put beds on the beach which we preferred. Animation each evening is ok. We enjoyed our stay at sunset beach .hotel.

The property is well run. The food is delicious. The accommodations are alright; renovations are underway to update the rooms. The staff is spectacular. Every single one of them. The massages by Anna and Haidi were the best my friend and I had ever had, when compared across four continents. They were really impressive. I would go back in a heartbeat.

I had a fantastic stay at Sunset Beach. My room was lovely and was right next to the beach, it was clean, the decor was nice, comfortable bed, with a kettle and mini fridge provided. The staff were all really helpful and friendly and really made my stay at the hotel special. The all inclusive food was very good, I am a pescatarian and loved all of the fish dishes and fresh tuna available everyday along with the lovely salads and fresh fruit.There was also a nice vegetarian options available everyday. I enjoyed the entertainment of an evening which started just after 8pm, there was a variety of traditional drummers and dancers, singers, karaoke night and a fashion show. I would definitely recommend this hotel and am looking forward to retuning next year.

Relativt slitet hotell. Ingen direkt anslutning till strandens, en å har sin mynning precis runt hotellet så man når inte stranden alls. Ganska långsam personal som trots lågsäsong inte gjorde något extra för vistelsen. Vatten fylldes inte på i rummet, man fick gå till baren och köpa detta. Frukosten var undermålig och extremt enkel. Ganska hårda sängar och hela stället behöver en renovering, ganska smutsig pool en del döda växter. Personalen behöver definitivt en utbildning i service. Under förväntan tyvärr.

More like a noisy party hostel. The bar, swimming pool and restaurant are in the same spot and the pool bar is pumping annoyingly loud beats and bass vibrations all day that can be heard everywhere, starting from breakfast. With sound boxes hanging all around outside the building. No rest at the pool, not one peacefull lunch or dinner. It got a little bit better, in the morning time only, after I complained 3 times, but not nearly enjoyable. There's a live band or show every evening in front of the open door restaurant, so no peacefull dinner ever. The terrain is far too small to accomodate these events every day. It can be heard in every room. I had to sit at the beach at the back exit to be able to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft schön am Strand, der Pool ist sehr sauber. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist einfach und Spiegeleier, Rühreier etc. werden indivduell frisch zubereitet. Der Zustand des Bades hat uns etwas enttäuscht, die Klobrille war locker, am Waschbecken gab es nur heißes Wasser und die Dusche war viel zu hoch angebracht und konnte nicht verdreht werden. Hier ist definitv Modernisierung nötig. Der gute Service mit Blütenschmuck auf den frisch gemachten Betten war sehr toll. Die tägliche Reinigung war auch immer sehr gut. Die Anlage selber hat einen wunderschönen gepflegten Garten, die einzelnen Appartments und kleinen Eingangsterrassen weisen aufgrund der Seeluft schon Mängel auf und sollten zeitnah an einigen Stellen renoviert werden um den Zustand zu erhalten. In der Umgebung des Hotels stehen leider sehr viele andere Hotels leer und daher ist die Umgebung auch nicht allzu attraktiv zum spazieren gehen und es gibt wenige Restaurants. Man muss immer mit einem Taxi fahren. Der Taxistand ist direkt vor der Tür. Die birdwatching Tour am Eingang des Hotels ist lohnenswert.

Bastante bien para el nivel de vida de la zona

No tengo quejas acerca del hotel. Ha ido todo muy bien, el personal es amable, la red wifi funcionaba y el restaurante cuenta com una amplia carta y en general todo está limpio y cuidado. Me volvería a alojar allí.

País muy raro

Es un país que parece que estas en guerra, a los blancos solo nos revisan seguido. Controles en las carreteras cada 10 km, cacheos a los blancos, revisiones totales en maletas y coche. En fin hay países mucho más tranquilos como Senegal y tan bonitos o más que Gambia

Buenas instalaciones,personal en recepcion muy mal

Es un hotel con unas buenas instalaciones pero con un personal en recepcion con pocas ganas de ayudar pero si de timar, cuando llegamos, despues de un largo viaje, nos apetecia comprar una botella de agua, el personal de recepcion nos ofrecieron una por 200Dalasis (como unos 4.5€), como vió que no colaba nos querian reservar un taxi para ir a Senegambia a que la comprasemos allí. Al final nos fuimos a la cama sin poder beber, porque no estoy dispuesta a que me timen de esa manera. Muy mala impresion de comienzo. Cuando nos fuimos nos cobraron 400Dalasis para tener habitación hasta que nos fuesemos para el aeropuerto, nosotros solo queriamos dejar las maletas porque nos ivamos a ir todo el dia fuera y solo nos ofrecieron dejar las maletas en medio de recepcion que cualquiera podria llevarse. Al final lo pagamos tras previa negociacion porque nos pedian 800D. Nada tienen que ver el personal de restaurante y del desayuno, muy amables.
