What an incredible hotel. Didnt hear street noise, parking is in back free and plenty spaces, check in was flawless and they allowed us early check in as we had a wedding to attend in the area. Thank you for doing that. A+++. Room was gorgeous, clean, and up to date. Hotel was very beautiful and it holds a lot of history as Abraham Lincoln stayed there in 1861 on his way to the White House.

Excellent hotel located right in the middle of the town of Freehold, NJ. A convenient restaurant on the premises along with a very nice bar and lounge area. Additional eateries and bars a literally a 30 seconds walk from the Hotel entrance, whether you looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Nice boutique hotel right in the downtown area. Many eateries a very short walk away. We appreciated the little touches, like the welcome chocolate bites and the two water bottles. There is convenient parking behind the hotel.

A unique, upscale hotel. The check in staff was amazing, providing drink coupons for our arrival and ready with information on breakfast destinations for the morning. The room was spacious and well appointed.

8/10 Muy bueno

My stay at the American Hotel was good overall. The staff was lovely, including everyone at the hotel restaurant. It’s a very old hotel, and there was definitely a bit of a musty smell once you left the lobby and headed upstairs to the rooms. That said, the room itself was large and clean. The building is simply old, so expect an older hotel that’s been kept clean rather than something modern or updated. Parking was convenient and free. Not the best hotel I’ve stayed at, but certainly not the worst. Overall, it was perfectly fine for a short stay.
