Room was súper small and outdated. Ac worked ok but I had extreme problem of mosquitos. There was only a bar of soap and no shampoo. I had to get my card magnetized each day. This is tough being in the 12 floor. Internet was extremely terrible also. I tried ordering Ubers to places and would struggle to complete my work.

Copacabana beach is just 300 away and around are many shops. The hotel itself is very outdated. Rooms looks like a 80s swimming pool (including the glare lights). Breakfast uninspired. Friendly staff at reception.

Excellent location 2 blocks feom copacabana. Now my favorite beach anywhere. RDJ isn't a perfect city but as long as you dont stray into where you shouldnt.go and do it is reasonably safe. The beaches were amazing and Hotel Canada was a great deal for the price. Not 5 star but it didnt lack any basic needs and cleanliness was aceptable. It was a great deal for the price. Terrible hotel labeled as 3 star

Stayed 4 nights to watch Carnival. Location is good (only good thing for the stay). Hotel conditions are terrible. Labeled as 3 star hotel, but don't think it is better than any 1 or 2 star motels (in terms of US or Europe standard). Bath towels are dirt, suppose to be white but what we see is dirt yellow colors, looks like 20 years old towels even ripped off. Some staff are helpful, some not. I will not come back again.

This is on a busy street. The traffic has a lot of small engine motorcycles (loud). And drivers use their horns routinely to signal each other. About a third of the rooms are on the street side. And don't have much to mitigate the noise. Plus there was some kind of random tapping going on inside one of the walls. I tried to change rooms, but was told the hotel was full. I bailed after a couple of days of sleep deprivation. Ugh.
