First let me start with the positive. Our linen was clean and our pillows were comfortable.
The desk attendant upon checkin was just rude and not thinking of the customer at all. She had an ear bud in talking to someone even while we were trying to check in. Conversations about clothes shopping and such. We couldn’t tell if she was talking to us or the earpiece. Our room was terrible. There were red/brown stains on the curtains, dried brown material on the outside of the toilet and bathtub, dirty and even a safety pin in the corner of the bathroom, and the toilet paper sat on a shelf because the roll holder was broken. The toilet was wobbly when sitting down also. To top it off, the TV cabinet was busted and broken, the room chair had paint splatter on it, and the smoke alarm had a baggie over it!
Reasoning for not talking with the desk staff after discovering these issues is simply because she had made it known that since we booked through a third party there was nothing that she could do to accommodate us further.
When these issues were addressed upon checkout by a new staff member she was so kind, apologetic, and concerned. I appreciated the attentiveness when talking with her about our issues.
