Our stay at the George was excellent, the staff were very helpful from start to finish. We had a meal in the Restaurant and it was amazing and so good value for money. The George is so convenient for all the attractions that are on their doorstep. We would be happy to stay at the George when we come to Bridgnorth again. Sue & Den

We had a lovely stay at the hotel which is a short walk into the town , which has many bars . We had a lovely Indian meal in the hotel on the night which was superb. Breakfast was good too .

Easy and quick check in. Good sized room and en suite with modern furnishings in both. Bed was comfortable. Only minor gripe is that breakfast was only served after 0930 which was no good to me.

My room was more like a small apartment which was clean & comfortable & the free breakfast was a nice bonus. I didn’t get chance to try the restaurant but it was busy and smelt delicious, overall a very good value for money stay & I’ll definitely stay at the George again if I’m in town.

This was a very comfortable stay at a good price. Room was clean and coffee, tea and water available. My husband was thrilled that the price included a full English breakfast. Very good location and just £4 to park opposite for 24 hours.

Parts of the Hotel needs refurbishment. The room we stayed in was adequate, comfy beds, although they need to change the pillows, two on each bed were flat. Bedding was clean white cotton sheets and towels were clean but a bit frayed. The shower in the bathroom had mould around the sealant. Tea and coffee facilities available in room but no option for Decaf. The staff were lovely, helpful at booking in and we booked a table to eat there on the evening. The food was excellent. This is a budget hotel so don’t have high expectations and you will have a good stay.

The room was small and basic but good for the price. A fan wss provided, made the room comfortable in the heat. The staff were friendly but had limited English. The restaurant was closed on the Monday which was disappointing as I wanted to try the Gurkha cuisine. The full English breakfast was excellent.
