In my opinion, this hotel is not ready to be open yet. I stayed only one night and was supposed to stay for four. My door had children’s stickers on the outside, which isn’t bad, just weird. When I first entered my room, it was freezing, I thought the window was open. It wasnt, but the windows are paper thin, and the air conditioner was on in Dec. The room was also missing a hairdryer and the phone wasn’t working, so I had to go down and ask for one. My room also had no chair. The biggest concern was that there were some very weird stains in the carpet and the curtains. I don’t think housekeeping does a thorough job. The bed looked clean, so it was fine for one night, but I checked out the next day. Did not want to even look at another room because I saw recent reviews mentioning roaches. Finally, there were no safes to store valuables, and no signs indicating whether you wanted housekeeping for Do Not Disturb, so if I was staying multiple days and wasn’t in the room, housekeeping would have come in whether I wanted it or not!
The only reason I’m not rating this hotel as poor is that the staff was nice and accommodating (aside from calling to ask when I was checking in, which was a
Bit weird) and refunded my remaining three nights without trouble. I hope this hotel can get its act together.
