My main complaint was the TVs not working properly in the rooms (see below for pictures). Most channels were cutting in and out and lagging, and cutting to an error screen. I came here to relax and watch football for the weekend which I couldn’t do because of the TVs. I should’ve just stayed home. There was also a deafening loud “popping” noise when opening up the shower door, as if the door was going to pop off the hinges. Not sure how this wasn’t addressed when the cleaners went through. I also opt to take the stairs instead of the elevators when I travel, which were filled with garbage and random items (i.e. empty water bottles, rags, hotel items lying in the stairwells). There were also bags of linens just sitting in the hallways of the hotel all day. This is the kind of stuff you expect from a Super 8, not a “luxury” hotel. Also didn’t help the pool and bowling alley were closed, even though it was indicated the construction would be finished by September. Finally, I have nice clothes I like to hang up in the closet, which only contained two hangers. The room was dirty with visible dust on the TV stand and dust and debris inside the dresser where I would normally put my clothes. I have stayed at many four and five star class hotels and this is by far the worst I’ve been to. On a positive note, the staff was friendly.
