I contacted the hotel a few days before arrival to ask about early check-in or storing my luggage. I explained that I had three suitcases and would arrive around noon. The manager responded and was accommodating, and I followed up again on the day of arrival for details.
However, when I arrived, I discovered the elevator does not work and that I had to carry my suitcases up three flights of stairs. There was no front desk, just a restaurant, and no one available to assist. I messaged the manager to point out that I had not been informed the advertised elevator was not functional, but received no apology or acknowledgment. The cleaner tried to help, but my suitcases were too heavy.
