This hotel masquerades as a stylish boutique property, but the beautiful facade hides a severe lack of hospitality. Some staff are downright snobby, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests on our honeymoon.
Our experience started poorly at 9 AM after traveling since 1:30 AM. We were simply told check-in wasn't until 3 PM, with zero effort made to prioritize us or even suggest they’d try to help us get in sooner. Yet, the next day, we watched staff personally collect other guests from the pool the moment their rooms were ready—a courtesy we were flatly denied.
The "complimentary" welcome drinks were a total farce. A receptionist actually snatched them away, and when we finally re-ordered, staff publicly embarrassed us in front of other guests by backtracking on what was included.
The public humiliation continued when we were falsely accused of not paying the city tax and forced to pull out our banking app at reception to prove it. Later, a receptionist aggressively confronted and accused us of fleeing without paying for pool drinks.
While we were at lunch, they even stripped the towels from our sunbeds, despite our personal belongings being right there. We asked for our towels back and were given wet towels and they said “I think these were yours”. To cap it off - €4 to change a pool towel, and €4 for a minibar soft drink that costs 80 cents next door. Disjointed, hostile staff completely ruined our trip. Avoid at all costs
