Staying at The Visitation Hotel feels like you’re stepping back in time to mid 19th century Frederick, Maryland with unique features like the altar bar and pipe organ, but updated with modern amenities. The hotel is located within just a few blocks of all of the historic Frederick sites and the riverwalk. The staff were extremely helpful, giving directions, making recommendations, and even taking pictures of our group. We can’t wait to go back again and hopefully stay even longer next time.

When we arrived, the cold water spigot in our bathroom sink was not working. The next day, the hot water spigot did not turn off so we had to shut off our water. The bedroom light kept on flickering as well when he had it on. The room to our door kept on getting stuck when trying to opening it from the outside.
