I booked our engineer in for a nights stay, he has said it's the best place he's stayed in a long long time. It was lovely and clean and the food was lovely and fresh, and the pub next door was very nice.

This is in a great location, with a great view from the garden across to the Abbey. Really happy with the room and the staff were lovely and very helpful. We also had our evening meal here, which was lovely and great value. I would definitely stay again.

The room was very clean , the one thing that could have improved it was a fan during the heat wave . Staff were very helpful and friendly The breakfast was very good , freashly cooked and quality ingredients. Maybe offer fruit as an alternative to cereal

Great Stay and Dinner at the Wilson Arms - 10 minutes outside Whitby - easy access and great rooms with great bar and food. We had a Double - Room 3 - Ate dinner good selection choice and great beer and Gin Stay was easy and I apologies for setting the Fire Alarm off at 8am on Sunday morning... shower ... Steam. No issues - all good - very nice breakfast service was great. Price £120.00 for a double with Breakfast. Meal for two was £67.00 which included 2 x Rounds of Drinks - great value. Thanks for letting us stay - we will be back

What a great find, lovely friendly pub with rooms. Room was spotless as the whole premises. Couldn't fault the evening meal or the breakfast ( probably the best we have had for some time. We will definitely revisit.

6/10 Bueno

Check in was good and the staff were very helpful and informative. The room was very clean along with the bathroom. However, the drawers under the sink didn’t close properly and were on a spring system so if you caught it the drawers came out even more. For me the mattress was too hard (we had the twin room), but it is difficult to please everyone. The room set up was lovely but it was missing a dressing table area to be able to do make up etc and also there wasn’t a full length mirror. We stayed here to attend a wedding in Robin Hoods Bay so a better mirror would have been ideal for getting ready. Breakfast was amazing and the waitress (the same on both days) was fab.
