Gah, made a mistake booking this one! We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 tweens). I only read the reviews when we were on the train coming to London unfortunately. We had a family room which turned out was in the basement (I was told all the family rooms are). Worst things about our stay: - Small room, not really suitable for 4 people so we were tripping over each other once stuff came out of suitcases. - Strangely hard to open door to the room itself as it got stuck on the carpet. - Small window with obscured glass. Once you open it, the view is a brick wall and creepy door so not really any natural light. - No kettle, had to ask reception twice for one. - Hot and stuffy - a constant battle to get aircon right. - TINY bathroom. Loo seat not fixed on property, nowhere to attach shower head to be able to stand under it. Clean enough but in need of maintenance. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the sheets clean. The location is very good - close to Queensway tube station and walking distance to Notting Hill. The breakfast was average. Good selection of stuff but fruit was partially frozen, no brown sauce and no plant milk available on request. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend it. There are far better places to stay for the same cost. I imagine rooms in the upper floors are a bit better but we found waking up in this room a bit depressing in all honesty!

I was being dealt with by a female receptionist and the male receptionist just decided to take over and was really quite rude/patronising to her - it was uncomfortable. Only 1 lift working. Room was tiny - if you were quite an oversized person, you wouldn't have fit in the shower. On the plus side - beds and pillows really comfy and location was perfect for The Royal Albert Hall.

My wife and daughter arrived at the hotel to check-in and were told it hadn’t been paid for even though it was paid for on booking on Expedia. She was made to pay the balance again until she could contact me to get the receipt from the booking. She was then refunded the money which will take upto 5 days which is unacceptable in my opinion as it wasn’t an insignificant amount of money to be out of pocket ahead of our trip in london. Room was newly furnished and clean otherwise.

When we arrived we told the staff in the reception, that we had tickets for the theater and that we had less than an hour to get to the theater. We asked if they could give us directions as to how to get to the show, "ABBA Voyage" in time. The staff gave us directions - 6 stops with the tube direction Holborn, and then no more than 10 minutes by foot. The only problem was that when we arrived, we found that the ABBA-show was 45 minutes away, and we could not - by far - get there in time. NOT GOOD!

The property/room was very tiny, the intercom phone was not working neither the WiFi, the staff Jonas was very rude and abrupt when complained about services he got angry and shut the door. In the morning informed the reception Jay regards the inconvenience overnight where a guest next door was using hair dryer between 1 to 1:30, stated they will look at it and showed no interest in dealing with it, advise was unable to notify at night as the phone line was not working, stated this has already been looked into.

The first night of my stay was fine . However, on the 2nd night the fire alarm went off multiple times during the middle of the night. Keeping the whole family up and distering the youngest child. This was due to a leak which then meant all water was shut off to the building so we were unable to use the bathroom facilities for the rest of our stay

I had a lovely stay at Queens Park premier hotel. The room was spotless, had everything we needed for our stay! The staff were so kind and helpful! The hotel is also close to a couple of stations and lots of main attractions like Notting Hill and Kensington gardens. Definitely recommend
