We enjoyed the area — beautiful lake, gorgeous sunsets. The townhome was clean, open, spacious, and stocked with plenty of supplies and towels. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. On the downside, there is no pool and no restaurant on-site. The beach area is very small, not a real sand beach, and not suitable for kids to swim. The playground is also very small. Activities are limited if you’re not golfing or boating.

Comfortable 2 bedroom duplex unit. Well equipped kitchen, stack W/D, fireplace, deck with Adirondack chairs. Grounds well maintained. Pool has been closed and walking paths deteriorated. Ceiling lights not working. No path to lake from these units.

Not what it is selling as! In need of serious updates! The wallpaper is peeling off of the bathroom walls, a heat lamp and no vent in the bathroom, counters in kitchen have gorges and (assuming) a bad burn and tried to repair. Shower head in tub needs to be raised so a 6 ft person can use. All the shades need to be replaced. The coffee table in the livingroom very worn. Appliances are in ok shape but need updating. It felt like sleeping on a crinkle plastic sheet. Pillows are terrible. Exterior in need of repair, window cladding is falling off. Not worth the money.

AVOID. None of the listed amenities were there. No pools, the clubhouse needs to be updated, the games cost money, movie rentals $2, and, most things were broken In our unit it said you could rent a PS2 - nope. No shampoo, no salt and pepper, no storage bags, no foil, no cleaning supplies (cleaners, brooms, etc), no restaurants, not close to the lake, the entire listing is junk. They had a handful of games at the clubhouse you could use, nothing in the unit and no guarantee the games would be available to use.

C-4, Our unit was very clean, well equipped with gas grill, soaps, utensils, towels. Housekeeping does an excellent job. Resort is geared more for golfers than fishermen now. No place to securely park boats and trailers. We would come back in the winter for a getaway, however it is unknown at this time how the new golf resort owner is going to handle the pools and restaurant, right now there is none available.

I was asked for my credit card for security reasons and at the end of the stay I was charged $231.36. This is my only complaint. I booked the stay via Expedia and Affirm. Affirm is scheduled to charge me for the stay as well. I have submitted proof of payment. I am getting nowhere. Please cancel the affirm charge. I don't want to pay twice.

Nice Townhome

The unit is as pictured. It is a townhome and the unit I had backed on to a wildlife pasture/wetland. I loved sitting on the deck and listening to the many birds and at night watching the firefly show. Front desk staff was friendly and the one small issue I had was resolved by the time I returned to the unit. It does have a gas grill for those wanting to cook. One bed downstairs with a bath and a large loft area with a bedroom and batch. Great place. Drawbacks...The unit I was in could use some appliance and bathroom updates. Either way, I will be checking into this unit on my next business trip!

Nothing was open and hadn’t been for quite some time according to the lady in the club house. She specifically told us the pools had been closed and not maintained, the pickle ball courts have never been put up and that we really just have a place to sleep. We were soooo disappointed. The owner is completely unreachable for accommodations. We tried to take our kids somewhere nice and relaxing for the weekend and ended up having to pay for activities we couldn’t afford. Worst experience EVER. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Very unpleasant smell.

The house was spacious. The smell of the well water was so bad that we couldn't enjoy the Jacuzzi. The jets were also temperamental with not wanting to turn on until we pressed the button about 30 times. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth because of the water. There was also mold in the upstairs closet. On a positive note the roads and sidewalks were plowed and shoveled after it snowed. When checking out the front receptionist, Marlene was very nice and took our concerns very seriously.
