I stayed here 2 nights as I was booking night by night as my husband was in hospital nearby, The room had everything I needed, far more than I expected in a small country inn. Food was delicious and varied. Service was excellent and friendly.

The cooked food was all brilliant. Chef and breakfast and evening team friendly and efficient Rooms nicely equipped, though heating programme meant the room was very warm at the wrong time.

Charming, attractive venue in a lovely location. Room was immaculate and beautifully furnished. Comfy bed and good quality bed linen. Great shower and towels. Room had a fan and air con unit which was helpful in this hot weather. Dined in the restaurant and food was delicious, although not the cheapest. Good English breakfast. Would stay again.

Beautifully tucked away in a country village with local walks highlighted in the welcome pack. A quiet place to stay.Historic building beautifully restored into a stunning accommodation without detracting from its History. The Red Cow Inn itself full of exposed beams, excellent friendly staff and an award winning menu.

Exceptional

I had a lovely stay at The Red Cow, this place is a real gem! The building and rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The staff were very attentive and friendly & the food I had was so good! Lovely local charm in the bar area with friendly faces welcoming me in. If I find myself needing to stay in this area again, I will without doubt be returning. Wonderful little inn.

Bed was only a double and not a kingsize as listed

Lovely pub, beautiful room but description on Hotels.com described the superior room as having a king size bed. It is only a double - we would not have booked the room if we had known.

Excellent food

I can only say look after your chef. Worth his/her weight in gold. Simply beautiful food. Room was clean tidy and service from staff was good. Recommended.

The room itself was lovely. Was disappointed that when being shown to the room, the member of staff never removed their footwear & left wet & slight dirty footmarks across the floor. The Kettle is also in need of some serious descaling!!
