Never stayed at Microtel before, but location was perfect so we tried it.
The hotel seemed brand new, and we couldnt beat the price. It was spotless, spacious room, comfy bed, spotless bathroom, pristine carpet. Crystal, at the front desk, couldnt have been kinder. I explained my husband couldn't walk far; she reserved the first room from the front desk. We got tied up in horrible traffic, making us 4-5 late on arrival, almost midnight. We had been on the road since 7am, were tired, hungry, exhausted. Since every restaurant in town was closed, and a we had was water, she heated water for tea and offered us a bagel; i was overwhelmed with her kindness, and nevercexpected it. The breakfast area was a mess when i sat down at 6:30am. I learned they have a lot of guests that are area workers, so she opens earlier to accommodate them. A very kind soul. The young lady that takes care of the breakfast had tables and counters cleaned in minutes, and all the fruit, coffee, and juice promptlybrefilled. A perfect stay!
