Divisi Suites & SPA is a real hidden gem. The room we had was beautiful, clean, and stylish, with a lovely balcony and surprisingly quiet, considering it’s in the heart of the city. Breakfast was delicious (definitely try the pistachio croissants). The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and they gave us great local tips.
That said, I do wish I’d known a bit more about the area before arriving.
The location is very central, but some of the streets right around the hotel aren’t the nicest, especially if you're arriving by train. If that’s how you’re coming in, I’d strongly recommend walking down Via Maqueda it’s pedestrian friendly, better lit, and usually has a police presence. Try to arrive during daylight hours if you can, just to make things easier and feel safer.
Also, if you’ve booked through Hotels.com, I’d suggest messaging the hotel directly to share your email or phone number. As they’ll need to send you a code to get into the building since there's no front desk, and it’s much smoother if you’ve already got that info before you arrive.
Overall:
Really enjoyed the stay, the room made it feel like a little retreat. Just be mindful of the surrounding streets and plan your arrival a bit in advance, and you’ll have a great time.
